Hi, Steve here from PMS Brick Paving and Landscape. Again, we’re back in Macomb County in Shelby Township, Michigan looking at the demolition process that is taking place. The brick has now been removed, and what we’re looking at here is an improperly installed concrete. There is no re-rod, there is no wire mesh. It’s approximately 2 to 4 inches deep. That is why the old brick paver walkway project had failed to begin with. The brick was set on top. It was never secured by a mortar joint, or anything like that and it began to fall apart, as you can see in the earlier videos. So we wanted to just show you that we’ll be excavating this concrete. The old brick paver walkway took a real tight turn here and hugged up against the bushes. We want to bring it out, open it up a little bit so it looks inviting as opposed to just walking and being piled up, walking up against the plants. So, as you can see the paint lines down on the ground. We’re also going to be dealing with this septic field right here so we are going to have to actually change this up a little bit because there is the top to the septic field. So we are going to go around that so they can access their septic field. What you are seeing right now is the new brick paver walkway painted down before it gets installed being making sure we get the approval from the home owner.
